LED Matrix on a Raspberry Pi

This video goes over part one of setting up an LED Matrix controlled by a Raspberry Pi. In this video we look at the hardware we will use for this project.


The goal is to have a led marquee that will randomly cycle through messages that are configured via a web interface. From there you can add edit and delete phrases. Additionally you can start and stop the marquee display.
